About our Founder
Franz Del Aguila is the President and Founder of Global Chem Link, LLC, a chemical trading company based in Houston, Texas. With more than three decades of experience across the Oil & Gas, EPC, and technical sales sectors, Franz has built a career defined by deep market knowledge, strong international relationships, and a passion for connecting global chemical producers with strategic buyers—particularly across the Latin American region.
Franz began his professional journey as a Mechanical Engineer after earning his degree from the University of Houston. His early career in Oil & Gas and engineering, followed by a transition into technical sales, gave him a solid foundation for the dynamic world of international chemical trading.
In addition to his work in the chemical industry, Franz is a seasoned entrepreneur. He
previously owned and operated multiple locations of a national franchise brand. Although that chapter came to a close during the Covid-19 pandemic, it sharpened his business acumen and reaffirmed his commitment to the global chemicals market.
Fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese, Franz leverages his language skills and cultural insight to build lasting relationships across borders. Today, through Global Chem Link, he is focused on bridging supply and demand in the chemical space—offering reliable solutions for distributors and end users in the U.S. and Latin America.
